HealthComp Holding Company LLC (“HealthComp” or “the Company”), a leading third-party administrator (“TPA”) of healthcare benefits for self-funded employers, announced today that it has appointed Scott J. Charles as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Charles brings more than twenty-five years of experience and numerous accomplishments in both public and private environments.
Most recently, Mr. Charles served as the CFO of Cytel, the largest provider of statistical and software-advanced analytics for clinical design trial and execution, playing a lead role in the growth of Cytel globally and in its successful sale. Previously, Mr. Charles served as the CFO of Aralez Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded specialty pharmaceutical company, and as the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Ikaria, Inc., a critical care pharmaceutical company, helping deliver the successful Initial Public Offering of its Research and Development business and sale of its commercial business.
